Dr. Schleusner began his distinguished career after graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1971, then joined the college faculty as an Assistant Instructor. He began serving the Las Vegas community in 1973, with the purchase of retiring Dr. Paul Bogardus' practice, on the corner of 9th and Bridger. He regularly attends both national and international seminars to stay abreast of current educational advancements. He has served as President of the Chiropractic Association of Nevada, Secretary of the Nevada State Chiropractic Association, President of the Palmer Alumni Association of Nevada, a member of the Clark County Association of Chiropractic Physicians, Nevada State Chiropractic Association, America Chiropractic Association, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, International Chiropractic Association, and Professional Chiropractic Society of America. He is a qualified Chiropractic Orthopedist and is a Fellow in the Acupuncture Society of America. His strong commitment to natural health care and healing includes traditional Chiropractic, Applied Kinesiology, Acupressure, Nutrition, Neuro Emotional Techniques, Brimhall, Gonstead Technique, Ulan, Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) and many others.

Dr. Larry was an instructor for the Clinic Abroad student volunteer program in Bolivia and Peru and looks forward to more Clinic Abroad participation.

Dr. Schleusner and his wife Pat (who also attended Palmer College of Chiropractic), have 1 son and 4 daughters who were raised in Las Vegas (amazingly, all 5 have graduated from the chiropractic college!) . Their son and three daughters are chiropractors. Another daughter and daughter-in-law are chiropractic technologists graduates. One son-in law, Dr. Eric Sakowski, is a chiropractor and enjoys practicing at Schleusner Chiropractic Center. Chiropractic is the way of life in this family! Pat's stepfather also graduated from Palmer and practiced in Arizona.

Dr. Larry and Pat greatly enjoy working with their friendly staff and patients as well as their 10 energetic grandchildren. Retire someday--"Probably not!" is his response. Dr. Schleusner enjoys the challenges of practice, always learning more, and helping patients to better health.

Dr. Julie Schleusner, DC

Dr. Julie was born and raised in Las Vegas and graduated from Bonanza High with Honors. While in high school Julie was a foreign exchange student near Brisbane, Australia. Next, she attended UNLV and later graduated in 1998, from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa, and is a third generation chiropractor. Her practice focuses on the role diet, nutrition, hormones and emotions play in patients' well being. She has attended advanced certification courses in Applied Kinesiology, Electro-acupuncture (EAV) using Biomeridian and Zyto testing as well as Bioset, Cold Laser, Ulan (Nutritional Response Technique), Brimhall, Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) and other advanced techniques to help patients achieve their greatest potential for health. Often she offers classes to patients on gluten intolerance, emotional freedom technique, and other topics. Dr. Julie was an instructor for Anatomy, Physiology, and Touch for Health to hundreds of students for over 3 years. She enjoyed participating with the Clinic Abroad program volunteering service to people in India. Big Sky Wellness Center In Kalispell, Montana, was created by Dr. Julie in 2006, www.BigSkyWellnessCenter.com Dr. Julie now practices solely in Kalispell. Patients are referred to her by U.S. and Canadian doctors. Dr. Julie enjoys skiing, rafting, hiking, jogging and lots of reading.

Dr. Eric Sakowski, D.C.

Dr. Eric Sakowski, originally from Ohio, grew up in Las Vegas and graduated with High Honors from Bonanza High, and as a biology major from UNLV, before graduating Salutatorian, Summa Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He was a Radiology Intern for the Main Clinic. While attending the chiropractic college he volunteered at a nearby elementary school tutoring students.

Dr. Eric participated in the volunteer Clinic Abroad program in Peru and Bolivia. He also refined his Spanish studies living with a family in Costa Rica and attending the university in Heredia with the intention of being of more service to the Las Vegas Hispanic community. Dr. Eric is married to Dr. Lisa and they have four children. Dr. Eric's focus in practice is working with entire families as well as those injured in auto accidents.

Dr. Lisa Sakowski, D.C.

Dr. Lisa (Schleusner) Sakowski was born and raised in Las Vegas, graduating from Bonanza High with Honors and then as a biology major at UNLV. She expanded her studies in Spanish while attending the Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica near San Jose. Dr. Lisa graduated Summa Cum Laude from Iowa's famed Palmer College of Chiropractic. Lisa also taught student radiology interns at the college and in her spare time volunteered tutoring elementary students. She also enjoyed her participation with the chiropractic college's Clinic Abroad program in Peru and Bolivia. Dr. Lisa continues her studies in nutrition and cold laser therapy as well as the latest chiropractic techniques. Dr. Lisa is married to Dr. Eric and they have four young children. Currently Lisa is not actively practicing as their children keep her very busy!

Dr. Trisha graduated from Bonanza High School, Las Vegas, after being a foreign exchange student in New Zealand. Trisha graduated from the university majoring in Business Management. She is the youngest of her siblings, all of whom have graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa. Some of her professors in chiropractic college were with her parents in class! Imagine! Trisha has a fun loving daughter and son and are happy to have returned to the "sunshine" of Las Vegas and being close to family.

It is fun to have her enthusiasm and skills join our office as a licensed chiropractic physician. Trisha has a fun-loving nature and is enjoying rekindling old friendships, and meeting and treating patients. She is also actively involved in community outreach events and speaking engagements.
